Composite Hose

Composite Hose Solutions for Industrial Transfer

Our composite hose range supports safe transfer of fuels, chemicals, vapours, and food liquids. Multi‑layer films and dual wire helixes deliver flexibility with low permeation and crush resistance. Lightweight assemblies help reduce bend force and operator strain while maintaining flow. With controlled materials and documented processes, we supply tailored assemblies for oil and gas, chemical production, food and beverage, marine, and energy operations.

Design and Construction

Multi‑Layer Barrier with Dual Wire Helix

Inner polymer films (polypropylene or PTFE) are stacked with textile reinforcements between inner and outer wire helixes. This structure provides chemical compatibility, a tight bend radius without kinking, and improved vacuum/pressure performance. Anti‑static and vacuum‑rated options are available for hazardous or recovery services.

Leakage Control and Burst Protection

Continuous inner films and reinforced bindings help limit permeation and leakage. Factory‑crimped assemblies are available with hydrostatic, vacuum, and electrical continuity tests. Video evidence and reports can be provided before shipment.

Product Range and Variants

Petroleum Service

For gasoline, diesel, biofuels, aromatics, and aviation fuels. Conductive paths manage static. Abrasion‑resistant covers suit tank trucks, rail cars, and ship‑to‑shore use.

  • Typical options: galvanized or stainless wires; camlock, flanged, or dry disconnect couplings; vapor‑line vacuum capability.

Chemical Service

PTFE‑lined hoses handle strong solvents and higher temperatures. Polypropylene‑lined options offer broad plant and terminal coverage.

  • Typical options: media‑matched liners and seals; defined pressure/vacuum ratings; continuity verified.

Food‑Grade Media

Configured for beverage, dairy, syrups, juice, and edible oils with smooth‑bore film stacks and easy‑wash exteriors.

  • Typical options: odor‑neutral materials; temperature windows suitable for CIP; tri‑clamp, camlock, or flanged ends.

Vapour Recovery

Designed for VOC transfer and vapor balancing in terminals and tank farms.

  • Typical options: vacuum‑rated construction, conductive layers for grounding, durable outdoor covers, light handling for rack lengths.

Cryogenic / LNG

Cold‑flex films and selected wire alloys retain flexibility and strength at sub‑zero temperatures.

  • Typical options: insulated configurations and end connections for controlled handling.

Fittings, Assemblies, and Custom Options

  • End connections: camlock, flanged (DIN/ANSI), threaded, dry‑disconnect; materials in stainless steel or aluminum.

  • Custom parameters: sizes from small transfer lines to large‑bore loading hoses; pressure and vacuum classes; temperature windows; optional conductive wire; outer wire in galvanized, stainless, or PP‑coated finishes.

Performance, Testing, and Compliance

  • Full‑process inspection with traceable raw materials.

  • Hydrostatic and vacuum tests plus continuity checks on request; video verification and documentation available.

  • Assemblies can be built to international norms; food‑contact options available where required.

Applications by Industry

  • Oil and gas: tank truck loading, rail transfer, marine bunkering, refinery service.

  • Chemical plants and terminals: acids, alkalis, solvents with matched liners and continuity.

  • Food and beverage: syrups, juice, dairy, and edible oils with sanitary connections.

  • Marine, aviation, and energy storage: lightweight handling with tight bend radius.

Installation, Handling, and Maintenance

  • Handling: light weight eases lifting and fits reels; observe minimum bend radius to maintain flow.

  • Installation: use proper gaskets and grounding; verify continuity; avoid torsional twist; support runs appropriately.

  • Maintenance: schedule inspections for continuity, pressure integrity, cover wear, and coupling condition.

Category Highlights

Compared with rubber hose, multi‑layer barriers reduce permeation and enhance chemical resistance. Dual wire helixes add vacuum/pressure capability and crush resistance while keeping assemblies light and flexible.

FAQ

Q: How do I choose between PTFE and polypropylene liners?

A: Use PTFE for strong solvents and higher temperatures. Choose polypropylene for broad chemical coverage at moderate temperatures.

Q: Can these hoses handle vacuum service?

A: Yes. Specify a vacuum‑rated construction and confirm continuity and grounding for safe operation.
