Plastic Hose

Industrial Plastic Hose Solutions: Materials, Builds, and Uses

Our range covers PVC, polyurethane (PU), and PTFE options for liquid and gas transfer in chemical processing, food and beverage, medical systems, ventilation, automotive manufacturing, and energy equipment. Formulations and reinforcements are selected to balance flexibility, chemical resistance, temperature capability, and durability under vibration, abrasion, and pressure cycling.

Why choose our hose solutions

We control raw materials, run full-process inspection, and verify performance with in‑house testing and video-documented checks. Custom builds include wall design, reinforcement, antistatic options, and factory-installed ends. Rapid samples, transparent production updates, and complete certifications support reliable delivery to 50+ countries.

Materials and constructions

PVC food-grade steel‑wire reinforced hose

Clear or colored PVC with embedded steel wire resists kinking and supports suction for liquids and light solids. Food-contact compounds enable hygienic flow; an optional antistatic wire improves safety when handling fuels and other volatile media.

PU reinforced corrugated hose

Corrugated polyurethane provides high abrasion resistance, low weight, and tight-bend routing for air and particulate conveyance in ventilation and material handling. Reinforcement helps maintain shape under vibration. Explore our Polyurethane Hose options.

PTFE smoothbore hose

Smooth PTFE liners offer broad chemical compatibility, low extractables, and low friction for clean transfer and precision dosing. Braided constructions support higher pressures; conductive liners help dissipate static. See our PTFE Hose portfolio.

PTFE corrugated hose

Corrugated liners increase flexibility and vibration fatigue resistance while retaining PTFE’s thermal and chemical performance. Fitting styles and sleeves are selected for repeatable, leak‑tight sealing.

Plastic Hose selection guide and key specifications

Pressure and temperature

  • PVC: ambient liquids and air; wire or braid supports suction and moderate pressure; suitable to medium temperatures.

  • PU: higher working pressure potential, strong abrasion resistance; reliable at low temperatures with good elastic recovery.

  • PTFE: widest temperature range; pressure scales with braid count and size; conductive options mitigate static.

Media compatibility

  • PTFE handles aggressive acids, solvents, and mixed chemicals.

  • Food‑grade PVC and PTFE support dairy, beverage, and hot‑fill/CIP with low odor/taste impact.

  • PU resists oils and many hydraulic fluids for pneumatic and light transfer lines.

Reinforcement and construction

Steel wire for crush/vacuum support, textile braid for balanced pressure and flexibility, multi‑spiral for higher pressure and kink resistance. Choose smoothbore for low pressure drop; corrugated for tight bends.

Fittings and connections

Sanitary clamps, camlocks, NPT/BSP threads, and quick‑connects are available. Antistatic builds include grounding paths. Protective sleeves, guards, and color‑coded markings are optional.

Compliance and documentation

Food‑contact grades (e.g., FDA‑grade compounds), antistatic constructions, and region‑specific paperwork are available. Each batch ships with material traceability and test records.

Plastic Hose assemblies and customization

We supply finished assemblies with factory crimping for leak‑tight performance and quick installation. Engineering aligns liner, reinforcement, and fitting metallurgy to your media, temperature, and pressure targets. Rapid samples and validated test reports accelerate approval.

Industry applications

  • Food and beverage: Cleanable bores and food‑grade compounds support dairies, breweries, and bottling. Wire‑reinforced PVC manages suction/discharge, while PTFE helps protect flavor during hot CIP.

  • Chemical production and solvents: Smoothbore or corrugated PTFE manages aggressive chemicals and temperature swings. Conductive liners and grounded assemblies reduce ignition risk.

  • Medical and breathing air: Low‑extractable PTFE and clean PVC/PU options support gas delivery and equipment lines with tight tolerances.

  • Refrigeration and ventilation: PU corrugated ducting routes in tight spaces and resists abrasion in HVAC service with good low‑temperature flexibility.

  • Automotive and energy: Durable PU and PTFE builds handle oils, fuels, and pressure cycles; factory‑crimped assemblies shorten setup.

Installation and service life tips

  • Respect minimum bend radius, avoid torsion, and protect against external abrasion.

  • Support vertical runs; use wire or spiral constructions for suction/vacuum.

  • Verify cleaning agents against the liner; flush before first use and after media changes.

  • Store cool and shaded, cap ends, rotate stock, and replace based on inspection and pressure test results.
