1. Food-contact tube, smooth bore White NR tube for direct contact with milk and other liquid food. The bore is smooth, with no cloth impression to hold residue, and a 5% soda wash covers daily sanitation.
2. Suction and discharge in one construction Two high-strength textile plies around a spiral steel wire. The wall does not collapse under vacuum, and the discharge side carries 10 bar (150 PSI) with a 30 bar burst rating — the working range of a tanker pump.
3. Flexible at low temperature, tight bend radius Coils at -40°C, which is what outdoor unloading points need in winter. Bend radius is 50 mm at 1″, 100 mm at 2″ and 306 mm at 4″, so routing beside a truck or in a narrow bay stays workable.
1. Tanker loading and unloading One end to the tanker pump outlet or bottom valve, the other to the plant receiving line. 2″ for smaller vehicles and short jumpers, 4″ for fast discharge on large trucks.
2. Farm collection Bulk tank outlet to collection truck, a route that usually crosses a wall corner, a threshold and a drain. A 50–100 mm bend radius allows flat routing, and the hose coils onto a wall hook afterwards.
3. Inter-process transfer Short runs between pasteurizer, separator, buffer tank and filler. Tri-clamp or SMS ends connect directly to equipment ports; the white bore allows a visual check after cleaning.
Q1: Is this hose food grade, and is it FDA marked? The tube is food-contact white NR and the hose carries an FDA mark on the jacket, so it can run milk and other liquid food in direct contact. Q2: Can it take vacuum, and can I use it for tanker unloading? Yes. The steel helix keeps the bore open under full vacuum, and the discharge side is rated 10 bar. 2″ is the usual tanker size, 1-1/2″ covers sampling and low-flow jumpers, and 4″ is for fast discharge on large vehicles.
Q3: Can you supply assemblies with fittings? Yes — camlock, tri-clamp, SMS, DIN and flange ends, crimped or banded at the factory and pressure tested one by one. Send the size, length and both end connections and we will quote the assembly.
